Biography: Zeshan Gondal is a Brooklyn native and a student at Yale University studying Global Affairs and Economics. His passion for international relations stems from his secondary school capstone on US-Pakistan relations, and it’s a passion he has continued in college: He is now serving as a senior editor for the Yale Review of International Studies and as a Director for the Yale Model Government Europe conference in Budapest.
Zeshan is committed to community building, and serves as Director of Finance and Communications for Students of Salaam, a student organization that mentors refugees from the Middle East living in the US. This past summer, Zeshan studied Arabic at Walam wa Lawh Center for Arabic Studies in Rabat, Morocco through the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship. He also completed a leadership-training course in the Wind River Range of the Rocky Mountains through the National Outdoor Leadership School with the 2016 Future Global Leaders Fellows.
