Head of International Market Development at Khan Academy

Yin Lu is head of International Market Development at Khan Academy. Formerly she was head of Marketing and Global Initiatives at Coursera. While at Coursera, her team partnered with the US Department of State to create the Global Learning Hubs initiative while localizing the Coursera platform and content into 20+ languages. Prior to the Education Technology realm, she led Google’s outreach strategy to Latino female students in the United States and was responsible for the creation of Google’s “24 Hours of Good” program, which connected Non-Profits and NGO’s to developer resources across the country. Yin has worked at Microsoft, Duke University and Co-founded Seattle-Based Education Non-Profit Achieve!. Outside of work, she is a mountaineer, skier and serves on the advisory board to Coding Dojo and Tech Impact.
