Biography: I am a student of International Relations and Critical Languages at Cornell University.  I am a first generation American and a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

My passion, to positively impact disadvantaged communities like my own, has inspired my continued work at Youthprise, a Minnesota based organization dedicated to ensuring Minnesota youth thrive inside and outside the classroom through our Youth Initiatives, Nutrition Programs and YouthBanks.  I currently serve as the Co-President of the Board and Co-Chair of the Governance Committee where we work collaboratively to address social disparities through grant funding for initiatives focusing on emotional health, safety, and economic development.

At Cornell, I am also an ambassador with the Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives, a member of the African Development Association, and a member of Black Students United.  After Cornell, I look forward to a graduate education and career in Public Diplomacy with the Foreign Service of the United States.
