After graduating from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Bordeaux in ‘89, Myriam specialized in international finance with a post-graduate degree from the University of Barcelona, and an MBA at ESADE. Beginning her career at the petrol companies Dyneff – where she became General Manager at the age of 24 – and Agip, she joined Primagaz Group in 1996 to launch the Iberian business from scratch. She was the Managing Director of Primagaz Spain until 2002. She then was asked to work with the CEO of the shareholding group – SHV Holdings – in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In this position, she went on several missions related to strategy and lobbying, spending time in countries such as Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, China, India and Pakistan. She was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Primagaz France in 2003 and in 2005, she became Managing Director for the company, initiating the energy advice approach. In 2008, she launched a new company called Economie d’Energie, and today she is the head of its spin-off. Economie d’Energie is a company specialized in operational consulting focused on concrete actions and tools to ensure energy efficiency. Very involved in both neo-management and sustainable development leadership, she participates in conferences organized by renowned institutes of education (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Bordeaux, Euromed…), various management groups (Auchan, Brink’s, SNCF, EDF, Disney…) and others. She is also a visiting professor in HEC Executive Education. Since 2011, she is an independent member of the Board for the SBF 120 listed company Séchilienne Sidec. In 2012, she won the La Tribune Women’s Award in the Green Business category. She is the co-author of two publications: “Intelligence émotionnelle, Services et Croissance” (Emotional Intelligence, Services and Growth), 2009 and “Mutation Energétiques” (Energy mutations), 2010. She is a co-founder of Le Cercle des Entreprises Centenaires, in partnership with ANVIE and HEC.
