Kim is the Founder of Cure[ate]. At Cure[ate], our mission is to provide food & drink marketing to enhance your brand and connect with your target audience. As a Brand Strategist & Experiential Marketer who resides between NYC & DC, Kim has extensive experience launching both brick-and-mortar stores & start-ups. She has a never-ending desire to learn all aspects of consumer behavior, brand engagement & the effects of community involvement. Kim’s food career began at DC’s Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration, meeting and administering liquor licenses to restaurant and bar owners. Following that, Kim was a Marketing & Community Development Team Leader for Whole Foods Market where she led the opening of the Whole Foods Market Foggy Bottom store. Transitioning from Fortune 500 food retail management to food+tech start-up, Kim spearheaded national partnerships and events at Brooklyn-based startup Kitchensurfing, an online marketplace to hire local chefs to cook in your home. At Kitchensurfing, she worked directly on customer acquisition and growth for the New York City, Chicago, Austin, and Seattle markets. She has her degree from Georgetown University.
