Become an FGL Mentor

Can I be an FGL Mentor?

An FGL Mentor is a top-professional that has experience and expertise in a field of interest for an FGL Fellow. A Mentor has a well-established international network and up-to-date knowledge about their specific field. Mentors are matched with a Fellow and they each act as a loyal friend by means of a supportive, nonjudgmental relationship. The Mentor believes in their Fellows’ potential and professional future and advises them in their academic life and early career.

Mentors can be based anywhere in the world and work in any field that is of interest for our Fellows.

Mentors must be willing to:

  • Commit to a 3-year relationship with an FGL Fellow
  • 3 video or live sessions with mentee during the first year
  • Ability to communicate once a month with mentee if necessary
